Meet The Staff
Jennifer Van Winkle, Head Tennis Professional
Jennifer Van Winkle’s love for the game started in junior high, when her father signed her and her sister up for tennis lessons. She ended up loving the sport and went on to play in college, while also participating in squash and badminton competitions. After college, she gave group and private tennis lessons at Baywinds Tennis Club before moving on to coach a season at Saint Mary's High.
As CIC’s head tennis professional, she will lead tennis clinics and give private lessons. To Jennifer, tennis is a life-long sport, and she is thrilled to have it back in her life again.
Emma Lynch, Tennis & Pickleball Instructor
Emma Lynch, a lifelong tennis and avid pickleball player, is a freshman on the women’s tennis team at the University of Findlay. The Perkins High graduate has been teaching private and group tennis lessons for more than three years, and she is excited to lead pickleball clinics and cardio tennis classes at CIC this summer, as well as offer private instruction in both tennis and pickleball.
Andrew Fillmore, Tennis Instructor
Andrew Fillmore is a senior in the honors program at The Ohio State University, majoring in mathematics and English and minoring in business. A 2019 graduate from Port Clinton High, Andrew was the school’s first-ever singles tennis player, accumulating 82 career wins in four seasons. He qualified for districts every year and won an individual conference championship and two team conference championships. This summer, Andrew will lead the Saturday tennis clinics, as well as give private lessons.
