Who We Are
Catawba Island Club is a unique and beautiful spot for a wedding, located on the western shore of Catawba Island on Lake Erie. Our staff is experienced and professional, the food is handcrafted in our kitchen and the sunsets are stunning! From the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception, as well as a next day breakfast, CIC will make your experience special.
Our Venues
Catawba Island Club is the perfect spot for any wedding, with various options for an on-site venue.
Pavilion – Reception Site
Located on the western shore of Lake Erie, with wide open views of the lake and panorama sunsets.
Front Lawn – Ceremony Site
Beautiful lawn between the Pavilion and Lake Erie. Stunning views for your guests and photo opportunities.
Harbour Room – Ceremony or Reception Site
Overlooks the scenic Catawba Island Club marina, with an outdoor deck and cocktail level.
GEMINI – Ceremony or Reception Site
A 73-foot Burger Motor Yacht and a great option for cruising on Lake Erie.
What We Offer
Rehearsal
Put yourself in the hands of our experienced team to walk you through the rehearsal process. After the rehearsal, you can choose to have us host your dinner. There are a few rooms to choose from, including the Lounge, Cliff Room, Chart Room and Harbour Room, depending on the number of guests.
Bridal Room
We offer an intimate bridal changing room for private use during the wedding, located adjacent to the Pavilion.
Ceremony
There are three different on-site venue options for your ceremony:
- Front Lawn: Beautiful view of Lake Erie (175 guests)
- Harbour Room: Overlooks the scenic CIC marina (120 guests)

Reception
Wedding receptions at CIC are timeless, right out of a storybook. Choose between these two locations:
- Pavilion: Located on the western shore of Lake Erie, accommodating up to 175 guests
- Harbour Room: Indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks CIC’s marina, accommodating up to 120 guests
With both options, you are able to decorate and create the setting you desire. We also offer four different dining options: plated choice, plated combo, buffet or grazer station.
Our pastry chef can create a symbolic cake, as well as sheet cakes for dessert. Bar options can be set up with the products you desire and are charged based on consumption.
Hotel
For your wedding, our boutique-style hotel offers your guests on-site accommodations and CIC guest privileges. We can block eight rooms the day before your event and 10 rooms the day of your event. We have one suite available to reserve that is perfect for preparing for the ceremony and offers a special place for the bride and groom to spend their wedding night.
Next Day Breakfast
CIC provides an option for a next day breakfast or brunch for you and up to 100 guests.
